Ignite CEO has Announced his Resignation After Seven Years

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ignite, Peng Zhong, a supporter of the Cosmos ecosystem, has announced his departure from the company. Zhong announced that Friday would be his last day at Ignite, where he has served as CEO since May 2020, in a tweet to his more than 20,000 followers. Today is my last day at Ignite. It is unclear what motivated his choice to depart the organization. Cosmos Ecosystem Ignite, formerly Tendermint is a significant player in the Cosmos ecosystem. During his time at the firm, Zhong gained widespread recognition for developing the initial Cosmos cryptocurrency wallet, Voyager, which was eventually renamed Lunie, and for helping to shift the ecosystem to liquid staking. Jae Kwon and Ethan Buchman, two software developers, established Cosmos together in 2014. By ostensibly simplifying information flow and transaction execution, Cosmos enables interoperability between blockchains.
