Регулятор Канады одобрил запуск биткоин-ETF от CI Financial и Galaxy Digital

Канадские регуляторы одобрили запуск CI Galaxy Bitcoin ETF — биржевого фонда от CI Global Asset Management (CI GAM) и Galaxy Digital Майка Новограца. Об этом сообщается в пресс-релизе. Листинг финансового инструмента под тикером BTCX состоится 9 марта на Фондовой бирже Торонто (TSX). CI GAM также планирует объединить с новым ETF существующий биткоин-фонд с активами на $172 млн. Менеджером финансового продукта будет CI GAM. Galaxy Digital Capital Management LP выступит в роли соуправляющего. В феврале Канада зарегистрировала первый в Северной Америке ETF на базе биткоина под управлением компании Purpose Investments. В январе Galaxy Digital анонсировал запуск трех Ethereum-фондов для крупных инвесторов.
